The 650 Suzuki wasn't getting any use. My quality perception had been recalibrated, and I knew I wanted to replace it with either a 690 Enduro or a 500 EXC. I would have bought the 500 were it not for the seat height. The 690 is too tall for my 30" inseam, but the 500 EXC is about 3" taller; utterly ridiculous for my reach, both on and off road.

Most everywhere they list the seat height of the 701 as 910 mm (35.8") except for the Husky website which is 950mm (37.4"). The new 690 is reported as 35.8" but KTM doesn't list the seat height on their site. They do say the 690 has almost 10" of suspension travel while 701 has 275 mm (10.8").
